a heart is a vote for something your like. you get a certain number of hearts to use each day based on the level you're at. your daily hearts reset every 24 hours.
the easiest way to earn reputation is by hearting great content. after you heart something, you get 1 point each time someone else hearts it. also, it will cost you 2 daily hearts to add something to tvpedia, but you'll get a bonus point for every heart it ever earns.
you also get reputation points for completing quests, filling in content, and inviting people. in fact, if you invite someone, you'll get 3%
of all the points they earn.
